A manual screen is the simplest install of the three: two brackets, a level, and you are done \u2014 and with no motor or electronics, it is also typically the least expensive way to buy a given size. A motorized screen adds a heavier casing, a motor and a power decision: a nearby outlet keeps it simple, while hardwiring looks cleaner but means an electrician if there is no power at the casing.
