Fixed Frame Screens

A fixed frame screen is the reference design for picture quality: the fabric is stretched tight on a rigid frame and hangs on the wall permanently, tensioned flat on all four sides — and it stays that way, because it never rolls up. On flatness it rates “best” of all screen types. No waves, no waiting for a motor: the screen is always up and always ready.

This is the deepest range we carry — 27 models from 100″ to 150″ — in matte white or grey fabric. White is the neutral standard for a light-controlled room; grey helps hold contrast in rooms with ambient light, which is why grey fixed frames pair so naturally with living-room ultra-short-throw setups. The range also includes a dedicated widescreen line: 2.35:1 Cinemascope fixed frames from 120″ to 150″, in white or grey, for dedicated cinema rooms built around scope-format films.

Choose fixed frame if you have a dedicated theatre room or a media wall that belongs to the screen — and treat it as close to a requirement if your projector is short-throw or ultra-short-throw: their steep projection angle magnifies every ripple in the surface, and a tensioned frame is the safest way to keep the geometry true. The trade is commitment: the screen owns its wall full-time, and assembly takes longer than the other types — frame built on the floor, fabric clipped on, then the finished screen lifted onto its brackets. If the wall is free and movies are the room’s purpose, this is the screen the other types are measured against.
