Description
The Eyeonet CAM-IP6794W–Z-LPR-0832 is a 4MP license plate recognition camera built for gates, parkades, warehouse yards and lot entrances where a regular camera gives you video of a car but not a plate you can read. It recognises plates on board — no PC or paid software needed — keeps a 10,000-plate database, and can trip a barrier or send you an alert when a listed vehicle arrives. It suits property managers, yards and businesses that need plate evidence day and night, in any weather.
- Reads plates, not just video — onboard LPR with a 10,000-plate database, a capture rate of 99% or better and plate reads at speeds up to 120 km/h, with road accuracy of 98% or better.
- Long-range motorized zoom — the 8–32mm motorized lens covers an ANPR capture distance of 16–48 m, so the camera stays at the gate while the read zone sits down the lane.
- Beats headlight glare — 120dB true WDR plus HLC keep plate characters readable when headlights point straight at the lens.
- Night range out to 100 m — infrared illumination rated 70–100 m with a sensitive 1/1.8″ sensor (0.001 lux) for clean night captures.
- Evidence-grade 4MP video — 2688 × 1520 at 30 fps in H.265+/H.265 keeps files small without throwing away plate detail.
- Talks to your gate and NVR — ONVIF Profile S/G/M/T for recorders, plus Wiegand, RS485 and alarm input/output for barrier triggers, and a CVBS output for aiming on site.
- Records even if the network drops — local microSD recording up to 256GB keeps capturing at the edge.
- Built for Canadian outdoors — IP67 aluminum-alloy housing rated −30 °C to +60 °C, powered by PoE, 12V DC or 24V AC.
Before you buy: plate capture works best when the camera watches a choke point where vehicles slow down (gate, speed bump, ticket machine) and the lens is zoomed so the plate fills a good part of the frame. A microSD card is not included. Barrier triggering uses the alarm/Wiegand wiring — allow install time for it. Mounting brackets are sold separately — ask us and we will match the right Eyeonet junction box or mount.
