Description
The Hikvision DS-7308HQHI-SH is an 8-channel tribrid DVR for sites that want HD picture quality without rewiring: it records HD-TVI and analog cameras over your existing coax at full 1080p in real time on every channel, and still leaves room for 2 IP cameras. Four hard-drive bays give it the storage headroom most 8-channel DVRs don’t have. Hard drives are not included.
- 8 analog channels — HD-TVI (720p/1080p) and CVBS analog cameras over coax, full-channel 1080p real-time recording
- Plus 2 IP camera inputs at up to 2 MP — up to 10 channels total if analog channels are disabled, for a gradual move to IP
- 4 SATA hard-drive bays plus 1 eSATA — up to 4 TB per disk, so retention is measured in weeks, not days (hard drives not included)
- H.264 dual-stream compression — a full-quality stream for recording and a lighter one for smooth remote viewing
- HDMI and VGA output at 1920 × 1080, plus a separate CVBS output — live view and playback at up to 1080p
- 8-channel synchronous playback — review every camera’s view of the same incident at once
- Long transmission distance over coax — HD signals travel far on existing cable runs
- 16 alarm inputs / 4 alarm outputs and 4-ch audio input with two-way talk — tie doors and sensors into the recording
Compatibility: a tribrid DVR for HD-TVI and analog (CVBS) cameras over coax, plus up to 2 IP cameras (up to 2 MP) on the network; Hik-Connect and DDNS provide remote access.
