Description
The CI1840-2.8 is a 4.1 MP turret IP camera — a straightforward, wide-view network camera for covering a room, a till area or an entrance without paying for analytics you will not use. Its fixed 2.8 mm lens takes in a broad scene from a corner or an eave, and the low-profile turret housing sits discreetly indoors or under cover.
- 4.1 MP resolution — comfortably past 1080p: enough detail to identify a person across a retail floor or a room
- 2.8 mm fixed wide-angle lens — the standard wide view for corners and entrances; set it once, with no zoom hardware to manage
- Discreet turret housing — the eyeball form factor aims by hand and reads clearly as a camera without dominating the wall or ceiling
A candid note on this listing: it is one of the briefest on the site. The page states no infrared range, protection rating, audio, power method or ONVIF claim, and no manufacturer datasheet for the CI1840-2.8 could be retrieved — so none of those figures are printed here rather than guessed. If any of them decides your purchase — the outdoor rating and the power method especially — ask us before ordering and we will confirm from the unit.
